Summer~!!

Hi guys ~ I haven't updated in so long yet again despite saying I will. From now on I will try to update as often as I can with events and things that I enjoy.

The last 3 weeks I have been working really hard for EF language school. EF (Education First) is where children between the age of 14-18 from all over the world come to visit England (and in my case, Oxford) to learn English and make new friends from different places. I worked as an Activity Leader where I was responsible for a group of kids and had to organise activities and take them out on trips, and entertain them whilst their visit here. I hadn't been trained but have been thrown into looking after 34 kids from the first day - I was completely on my own as I wasn't given a course leader which is another leader who comes with the kids from their country, and every activity leader should have one who will help you with. Honestly, the first 3 days I cried - it was the most stressful thing ever - I wasn't told what to do and had no idea what I was doing. The worst bit was at the end of the first day when the kids had to get the bus home to where they were staying to their homestay family. Like most people, I don't know every single part of Oxford and which bus to take to get there. So that was stressful and worrying as I had no help, and wasn't sure that I let them get on the right bus, but luckily the next day they all turned up! I had 34 kids shoving their maps in my face asking where to go and I honestly broke down after with stress. After the first 2 days I had my solid group of 30 kids from 6 different countries whom I worked with for the 3 weeks.

Despite it being very intensive and stressful work, it really helped me gain experience and confidence - I got to know my group of kids well (even though it was daunting at first) and learnt how to be organised with tight schedules, handling money, looking after kids all day and evening, handling problems and situations even when there was no help given. Hopefully with this experience down on my CV I will be able to get a more stable part time job in Japan.

Right now I'm just trying to relax and save up for my year abroad in Japan - I will be leaving here on the 5th of September to go to Tokyo. I really can't wait! I'm still living at my university house in Oxford for the time being, but it's very hard to save up and half my wages of hard work is going towards rent for next month ;_;
I'm a little worried about the money situation there, although I get cheap accommodation through the university Tokyo is expensive and the pound is very weak compared to yen, but I hope that I will be able to get a job there and manage somehow.

As for modelling, I haven't done anything for a very long time. But recently I had a shoot at Studio Blanco and have quite a few shoots booked over the coming weeks including one for a latex designer. Keep your eyes peeled and join my page here

I love styling my hair with a rolled pin up fringe right now. Here are some recent shots
